María Isabel Pimentel Arias, primogénita del Sr. Juan Arsenio Pimentel Melo y la Sra. Milida Aurora Arias Báez. Nació en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana el 27 de abril de 1970 rodeada del amor de sus padres, abuelos, tíos y demás familiares, por ser la primera de la tercera generación en la familia. A su corta edad de cuatro meses presentó convulsiones que prontamente fueron identificadas como parálisis cerebral producida por la falta de oxígeno al nacer. Falleció en la paz del Señor el 4 de abril del 2024 en el Bronx, New York a la edad de 53 años a causa de una neumonía. María emigró a los Estados Unidos junto a su familia en el año 1982. Sus hermanas, Jazmin, Wendy y Diana, y su hermano David.  Sus cuñados, Edgar, Victor, y Nicholas.  Sus sobrinos, Jahdiel, Wenyfel, Ivana, Carlos, Michelle, Mia, Noah, Elijah, Nicholas Jr. and Brielle. Su familia la extrañará, pero les reconforta saber que ahora María Isabel mora junto a la presencia de su Creador, libre de cualquier incapacidad física que le acompañó a lo largo de sus años aquí en la tierra.

Maria Isabel Pimentel Arias, eldest daughter of Mr. Juan Arsenio Pimentel Melo and Mrs. Milida Aurora Arias Baez. She was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on April 27, 1970 surrounded by the love of her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and other relatives, who welcomed her as first newborn to the third generation in her family. At the young age of four months, she had seizures that were soon identified as cerebral palsy caused by the lack of oxygen at birth.  She died in the peace of the Lord on April 4, 2024 in the Bronx, New York at the age of 53 from pneumonia.  Maria immigrated to the United States with her family in 1982.  Her sisters, Jazmin, Wendy and Diana, and her brother David.  Her brothers-in-law, Edgar, Victor and Nicholas.  Her nieces and nephews, Jahdiel, Wenyfel, Ivana, Carlos, Michelle, Mia, Noah, Elijah, Nicholas Jr. and Brielle.  All her family will miss her, but they are comforted to know that Maria Isabel now dwells in the presence of her God, free from any physical disability that accompanied her throughout her years here on earth.
