Debra Ann Armstead was born on November 18th, 1959, in Selma, Alabama to the late Roosevelt and Willie Mae Armstead. At a young age she relocated to Brooklyn, NY with her family and embarked a fulfilling life that will never be forgotten.
Debra Ann Armstead was a loving, devoted, dedicated mother and grandmother. Her welcoming and infectious caring spirit touched the lives of many. The lessons she left behind through storytelling warmed and touched the hearts of all those that graced her presence. With sorrowful hearts our beloved Debra Ann Armstead departed this earthly life on September 29th, 2022, at Bronx Care Hospital. This ending was a beginning to a spiritual rebirth. Her memories will forever linger in the hearts and minds of her family.
She leaves to mourn: two children, Ryan Sabio, Destiny Armstead, one daughter-in-law, Catherine Sabio (all of Bronx, NY), two grandsons, Destin Brown and Zion Armstead, three siblings, elder Rose Mary Armstead (Selma, Alabama), Pastor Betty Armstead (Brooklyn, NY), and Jessie Hosea (Cleveland, Ohio). Two sisters who preceded in death, Dorothy Mae Heights, and Mary Emma Armstead. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
We loved her but God loves her best. We will always cherish her and the wonderful recollection of memories.
Respectfully Submitted,
