Joyce Blanch, known to friends and family as “The Diva” has transitioned into the afterlife on June 1st, 2018 at 60. She was surrounded by her loving family. Joyce’s story starts on October 2, 1957 the child of Katherine Haywood-Blanch and John Blanch.” Joyce “The Diva” was born in Mount Vernon NY and as a teen she grew up in the Bronx, NY. She worked as a Beautician until retiring to be a fulltime Direct Support Professional. Joyce loved Jehovah God; she attended Fordham Kingdom Hall where she served as a devoted Jehovah’s Witness.
“The Diva” a wonderful woman whom is loved, cherished, and will always be missed. She is survived by Her children: Shawn Blanch, Katherine Blanch, Marston Blanch, Bradley Blanch, Ernest Freeman. The Grandchildren: Tanika Blanch, Charmaine Fleming, Jeanine Blanch, Shawn Blanch Jr, Chaz Blanch, Sapriya Blanch, Malayisa Blanch, Lavon Diaz, Breanna Blanch, Miles Blanch, Shamark Black, As well as her Great Grandchildren: Milan James, Jacob Nieves, and the many Nieces and Nephews. Siblings: Shawn Kaba, John Blanch, Mary Smith, Linda Blanch, Paul Blanch, Larry Blanch, James Blanch. She is preceded in death by her husband Marston Freeman, parents and Brother Bernard Blanch.
