Julio Damas Obituary

Julio Ricardo Damas of Washington Heights passed away at the age of 70 on June 14, 2024 surrounded by family. Julio is survived by his wife, Maria, his son Juan ( Marisol) and his two daughters Jackie (Rich) and Jessie. He is also survived by his four grandchildren ( Samantha, RJ, Matthew and Moon), his two sisters Abby and Gloria.

Julio was born in Puerto Cortes, Honduras in 1954 to Rita Pastora Damas. Julio and his wife Maria were married for 52 years. He was a New York Yankee fan and a New York Ranger fan. Julio worked at New York Presbyterian's Laundry Dept. for 38 years where he gained an extended family. He was a man of great faith and was a kind and gentle soul. Everyone who met him loved him.

He will be missed by all today and always!
