Ny Bun

Ny Bun, 74, of New York, peacefully departed this life on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Ny was born on August 5, 1950 in Cambodia to Nop Bun and Chroeung Eit.

Ny was a devoted husband to Hol Sun for 51 years, and an admired father to Sinoun, Samnan, Samnang, Sinath, and Inav Bun. He was also a beloved grandfather to Marianna, Johnathan, Julie, Mileena, Melinda, Christopher, Damein, Arrianna, Roxanne, Kyleena, Jasper, Ethan, Sabrina, Kyute, and Amoura.

Ny was a warrior who survived the Khmer Rouge and brought his family to the States in 1983. He participated in many activities, such as fishing, writing, singing, drawing, nature walking, cooking, and spending time with family. He was also known for his cheerful, pure-hearted, charismatic, charming, and silly personality.

Ny Bun will be truly missed and loved by all who knew him. His legacy of adoration, strength, and laughter will continue to live on. Ny will forever be in our hearts. May he rest easily in Paradise.

A memorial service to celebrate Ny’s life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 10AM-12PM at Forever After Funeral Services.
